The “Bulletin Board of the Air” is a service to announce community events and activities, as well as classified advertisements. The Bulletin Board follows the Caribou Clatters three times daily, Monday through Saturday.
Any free event or announcement is aired at no cost. Call (907) 822-3306 to leave your announcement along with your name and phone number. Personal classified ads (garage sales, For Sale items, etc.) are aired at the reasonable rate of $5 for six days to individuals. Business classifieds (job openings, services, classes, home businesses, fundraisers, etc.) are charged at a rate of $15 for six days. Any event that includes a cost to the community is considered a classified ad.
Small businesses wishing to announce a sale, open house, special event, etc., may purchase the Small Business Classified Package. This gives the advertiser one prime-time 30-second ad per day for six days. The advertiser may choose the prime-time hour in which the ads run (6-9 a.m., Noon-1 p.m., 4-6 p.m.). Classified ads will not be accepted by phone. Businesses may fax information to (907) 822-3761, and will be billed. Individuals should mail classified ads with payment to KCAM, Box 249, Glennallen, AK 99588, or deliver them with payment to the KCAM studios. Please do not phone in your classified ad.
