Caribou Clatters

This is a personal message service for those without two-way communications. If you do not have a phone or other way to receive communication, you are welcome to use this free service. Caribou Clatters air four times daily on AM 790: during the 7 a.m., Noon, 5 p.m., and 9 p.m. news reports. The same messages air three times a day on 88.7 The Light: during the 8 a.m., 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. news reports.

The deadlines to receive Clatters for the next newscast are as follows: Monday-Saturday, 6:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 4:30 p.m. And Sunday: 6:30 a.m. & 4:30 p.m. Each message will air three times to ensure that the recipient has ample opportunity to hear his or her message.

Bulletin Board of the Air

These community announcements air three times a day: during the 7 a.m., Noon, and 5 p.m. news reports. Deadline for announcements is 24 hours before the planned airing date. Free events or information may be aired at no cost for 3 days. Announcements should be e-mailed to caribouclatters@kcam.org, mailed to Box 249, Glennallen, AK 99588, or brought to KCAM in person. Classified ads (for individuals holding garage sales, selling something, etc.) cost $5 for 6 days. Classified ads must be prepaid, either in person at KCAM or through the mail: Box 249, Glennallen, AK 99588. Business owners should call (907) 822-5226 to discuss rates for advertising job openings, open houses, or business ads.
